Ocala, Florida — On May 8, 2025, at 12:49 p.m., Ocala Police received a report of an armed robbery at the TD Bank located at 2437 SE 17th Street. Randall Williford, 37, entered the bank with a gun and demanded money, leaving with over $6,900 in cash. He fled in a black pickup truck driven by Amanda Bishop, 34, with Andre Baker, 36, as a passenger. Officers quickly located the vehicle, leading to a high-speed chase that reached 90 mph. At 12:59 p.m., the truck rolled into a retention pond near SE Maricamp Road, next to the Southern Pig and Cattle restaurant. Williford exited the vehicle armed with a gun and fled on foot. Williford tripped and, as he stood back up, he faced the officers while still holding his weapon.
Despite receiving verbal commands to drop it, he did not comply, and the officers engaged him with gunfire. He sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the wrist. Williford received immediate medical attention at the scene, where officers applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding. He was then transported to the hospital for further treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the officer-involved shooting. Randall Lee Williford was arrested for robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and tampering with evidence. Amanda Jean Bishop was arrested for robbery with a firearm, and fleeing and eluding police with disregard for the safety of people or property. Andre Javon Baker was arrested for robbery with a firearm.
