Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin — On June 28, 2025, a Pleasant Prairie officer attempted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The driver fled, leading officers on a 100+ mph pursuit that continued into Illinois. Pleasant Prairie officers, along with other assisting agencies, made several attempts to deflate the tires. While the first two were unsuccessful, a final deployment helped end the pursuit safely. The fleeing driver struck multiple squads during the incident but was taken into custody without further issues. The driver was charged with Felony Fleeing/Eluding, 5 counts of 1st Degree Reckless Endangering Safety, Hit and Run, Possession of Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia, OWI, and numerous other Municipal citations.
