Pursuit of stolen French car

 

 

 

On September 3, 2025, the Traffic Team received an ANPR hit on a stolen vehicle. It was a vehicle with French license plates. A Traffic Team police car gave the vehicle a tail signal. After a feint, the French vehicle sped off. A chase ensued. The vehicle was seized because it was a stolen French vehicle. A report was filed against the driver for violating Article 5a of the Road Traffic Act. This report included all traffic violations. A cartridge (bullet) was later found in the vehicle. The suspect was questioned and released pending the Public Prosecutor's investigation. The passenger was arrested for the ID law and later released with a report. The details of both occupants have been transferred to our French colleagues, who will later investigate the vehicle theft.
